I enjoyed my one-night stay, but the room could use some TLC. The location was perfect for a quick getaway, close to the beach. I had a delightful dinner nearby with fantastic ocean views. For best parking options, use the garage behind the hotel for convenience!

You’ll need to download an app just to check in, which really feels like a hassle, especially after paying online. The bathroom fixtures seemed outdated, and it took an unnecessary amount of time running the water before it got cold—definitely not ideal for brushing your teeth. I encountered some major issues with water quality. it had a peculiar taste and wasn’t pleasant to drink at all. The ceiling above the shower leaked during my stay, and even after discussing it in person, there was no follow-up from the hotel. Plus, I found myself having to book housekeeping, which feels a bit off for a place trying to ride that four-star wave. Parking also hit my wallet hard, and to top it off, the noise from the rooftop bar could be pretty disruptive at night, leading to some less-than-stellar sleep.

The location is amazing, just steps from the beach and Santa Monica Pier with awesome views of the ocean. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfy, with a fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV, and even a private bathroom. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and the fitness center. Staff were super friendly, and valet service was efficient.
